Synopsis In der Fremde (In the Unknown)

How can man stay attentive in reality? It is easy being brought from reality into other directions. We have many ideas about what happens in our reality. But if we live in the same world, how is it possible to have many different perspectives about it?

This film shows a day in a daily life of a watchman.
He finds a girl inside the tower while he was doing his daily round. It is not allowed to be there. But the girl thinks that she belongs to other reality where she is a praying mantis, which changes always reality through each movement.
The watchman insists on his attitude, because he lives in our world where the praying mantis is only a girl, which cannot change the order of things.

Attention is the keyword of this short film. Man changes itself even when man is not aware of it. The repetition of things works as naming, the definition of elements.
